Schedule

Thursday, November 5 — Welcome Party

Texans: Tennessee runs an hour ahead — 7 PM here is 6 PM back home.

Friday, November 6 — Wedding Ceremony + Reception

Attire: Semi-Formal — no denim, please

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and most of the reception are outdoors — bring a layer for the mountain evening.

Important — Getting to the venue

All guests must use our provided transportation

Due to our venue's strict parking policy, shuttles will run to and from The Trillium, picking up from Black Fox Lodge, The Wayback, Embassy Suites, and the rental homes in Black Bear Ridge Resort. Staying somewhere else? Let us know when you RSVP and we'll provide a separate pick-up/drop-off lot.

Travel

Thank you so much for traveling to be with us on our day! If you have any questions about the area or need more information, feel free to reach out to the couple or their families.

Fly into Knoxville (TYS)

McGhee Tyson Airport is the closest commercial airport to the Smokies — about 45–50 minutes from Sevierville. Nonstop options from Texas:

We recommend renting a car!

The Knoxville airport is about an hour from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, and having your own car is the best way to see the National Park. Eight companies operate on-site at TYS: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.

Book early — TYS is a small airport and wedding weekends can sell lots out.

A note on traffic

Traffic is very common in the area — these towns have lots of one- and two-lane roads that back up easily. Locals bypass the Parkway crawl via Veterans Boulevard and Wears Valley Road; they can save 30+ minutes on busy days.

Where to Stay

We've reserved room blocks at three hotels in Pigeon Forge — book through our links or mention the group code for the wedding rate. Shuttles pick up from all three, plus Black Bear Ridge Resort.

Q + A

Will there be transportation provided to the wedding?

Yes! Due to extremely limited parking at our venue, guests must utilize the provided transportation to and from the wedding. Shuttles will depart from our reserved hotel blocks at The Black Fox Lodge, The Wayback Hotel, The Embassy Suites, and rentals located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort. Please let us know where you will be staying when you RSVP! If you make accommodations elsewhere, we will provide you with a separate pick-up/drop-off lot.

Are children welcome to attend?

Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate children outside of the wedding party. We love your little ones, but hope you will take the opportunity to have a night off. Adults only please!

Can I bring a date?

We are only able to accommodate the guests listed under your RSVP. If you are unsure if you have a plus one, please reach out to the couple!

Will there be a dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We ask that there be no denim worn.

What will the weather be like?

During our wedding weekend, we are expecting it to be cool during the day in the 60 to 70 degree range and chilly at night, with temperatures as low as the 30s. Please note the ceremony, cocktail hour, and majority of the reception will be held outside. The welcome party will be held indoors.

Where can I find your gift registry?

If you would like to contribute to our home or our honeymoon, our registry can be found here — but more than anything we hope you can make it to Tennessee for our big day! Your presence is present enough, so please don't feel obligated to get us anything else.
